Beautiful spot, will bring the 4wd drive next time.

Great place to visit with rugged scenery, plenty of wildlife and wildflowers. A trip to the aboriginal Mudadgadjiin Shelter is worth the drive, although the road is pretty rough and could be impassable in bad weather. We stayed at the Southern Grampians Wilderness Lodge off the Rocklands-Cherrypool Road which has comfortable, well appointed and roomy log cabin/chalet style accommodation. Gariwerd (the Grampians) is also close by and the whole area is full of sightseeing opportunities.

Interesting country with a lot of bush and wildlife. Great bushwalks up to and along the Black Range.

Much quieter than the Grampians, with some beautiful rock formations and aboriginal art
